What do I do if you haven't got a book or article I need?

Answer

Our Interlibrary Requests team are on hand to support you with getting access to the texts you need. If you are a staff member or student at the University this service is currently free (annual limits apply)

More information can be found on the Interlibrary Request pages: www.sussex.ac.uk/library/find/ilr

You can complete the online form to request items from other libraries, please give as much detail as possible so the team can find the right item for you.

External members with borrowing rights can place Interlibrary requests - please do so by emailing the team directly: library.interlib@sussex.ac.uk

Please note a charge of £18 will be incurred for external member requests.

If your request is a book you think would benefit other library users, you can make a purchase suggestion here: www.sussex.ac.uk/library/find/suggest

If your request is for a database, journal or other online resource that you think would benefit other library users, you can make a recommendation here: www.sussex.ac.uk/library/research/journal-suggestion

These requests will be reviewed by the team and appropriate items or subscriptions purchased.
